Quiet Empathy

The Invisible Role of Empaths in the Workplace

“You are too nice, you care too much, you are weird”.

These are statements empathetic people hear often and feel the need to change to progress their careers. What if empaths could just be themselves?

New Book

Quiet Empathy is a personal exploration of the pivotal role empaths have incorporate environments told from the perspective of two empathic women in STEM.

Empathetic people shoulder the emotional burden within their teams, the larger organization and even clients and external stakeholders. They act as the glue for human connection, yet their efforts are often undervalued. Quiet Empathy makes visible the crucial role of empaths in an increasingly complex and interconnected workplace. It acknowledges the emotional burden on those who assume these roles.

Through compelling personal narratives and insights, this book provides a calming confirmation that empaths do not need to change who they are. It illustrates how they can manage the burden and avoid burnout. The authors encourage other empaths to embrace their gift with discernment by intentionally practicing self-regulation.

Book Reviews

Read what our enthusiastic readers have to say.

This book shines a light on something many people feel but struggle to articulate, the quiet tension of being an empath in environments that often prize toughness over tenderness, and results over relationships.
